Gli occhi parlano

Il fotografo Aaron Huey ha realizzato un interessante progetto fotografico
Ha immortalato alcune donne Yemenite nei loro tradizionali abiti islamici (burqa o niqab) ponendo loro varie domande sulla vita, i valori, l’idea di futuro etc.
Di ogni donna, quindi, conosciamo solo taglio degli occhi e risposte.
Dopo il continua le foto e le domande (in inglese) poste dal fotografo.

“Palestine. We are sending money to them. Also poverty. We send money to the poor with tithing. The biggest problem in Yemen is women not teaching their daughters. Early marriages are also a problem.”
